  Blame! fans, take my words with a grain of salt. Perhaps there's something I'm missing for not having read the actual series. However, since I must take Noise at face value, it's difficult to recommend it. Absolutely stunning artwork is simply not enough to cover poor pacing and a rushed ending that, given time, might have turned into a really nice story. Perhaps that's what I'd find if I were to start out by reading Blame!, which is definitely what I'd recommend to any newcomer who's considering picking up this book. Read Full Review
