Tezuka's work is really critic-proof. You should expose yourself to at least one of his stories at some point in your life. Sometimes it's okay to believe the hype, and that's particularly true in this case. Sometimes legends are hard to live up to, particularly when you have the lofty title "God of Manga" thrust upon you. Tezuka manages to live up to the mantle, however, and Early Works is a great place to see his humble beginnings. Read Full Review
