This is in some ways a fragment of a larger story and a setup for what comes next, even in that Pope provides content in deeds, dialogue, and action that left me with a good sense for who Haggard West was. Every pen stroke, caption, and word of dialogue has been meticulously placed to move the story along. That is more than some creators are able to do in an entire first story arc and it's what sets creators like Pope apart from and above many others in the field.
