I'm going to finish off my little review by getting a tad bit preachy, so bear with me for just one second. Simply put, the Foundation is good enough that everyone should at least consider taking a look at it. It's hard for smaller publishers to provide the type of advertising required to take an independent publication and turn it into an outright hit, and I have a feeling that if this book were published by Image or Dark Horse it would already be generating at least a small amount of buzz. But as it is, there are probably a number of you out there who have never even heard of Boom! Studios, much less bought one of their books. If, by chance, you are interested in checking out any one of Boom's solid titles (and you should be), I heartily recommend this one to start with. I highly doubt that you'll be disappointed.
