The art was a bit hard to engage with as the anatomy would shift, but the panel layouts and detail work was admirable. There wasnt any color (thus the black and white title), so the artist and inker had to rely on shading techniques and clear lines to differentiate action and depth. Frankly, while the art didnt engage me much, I was impressed with the story. The best part about reading comic books is that if one side is weak, a reader can plow on with the stronger side. I wasnt a fan of the art of Sandman at first, but the story is what kept me reading. The same could be said here for Vincent Price: Black and White. Read Full Review
