Tristan's Will has seized the city of Accrington in search of Bethany. Lord Commander Praga and the masked necromancer, Volgros, will stop at nothing to find her, even if it means torturing innocent citizens. When the townsfolk bring forward a young woman who matches Bethany's description, Elissar must use her sword, and Bethany, her talents (but not necessarily her magic) to save them all.
