Swamp Thing's mind is tearing itself apart. When an unsuspecting cryptozoologist arrives in the Louisiana bayou, Swamp Thing drags the scientist deep into his pit of mental torment. What neither knows is that lurking in the dark lies an even greater threat-one bent on mounting Swamp Thing's head in a macabre trophy room.
Given the apparent changes in the status quo from the previous issue, Pfeifer could have made this a good jumping on point for new readers. A dearth of recapping, however, gives newbies ample reason to leave Swamp Thing in the bayou by himself. Read Full Review
