Mamushi and Todo now have both eyes of the Impure King and are headed for the temple that was once the center of the Myodha sect. Mamushi wants to seal the eyes away, but may be too late to realize Todo's true purpose-the awakening of the Impure King! Meanwhile, Rin learns more about Father Fujimoto's connection to Tatsuma and the origin of the Koma Sword. May 17, 2020So the fight between Bon and Rin that has been building for three volumes wasn’t what I was expecting, but I really should have seen it coming. I read enough manga that I should know by now that Bon was more upset his friend didn’t trust him, and thinks Rin didn’t value their friendship, rather than upset about Rin being the son of Satan. The supporting cast is really starting to shine in these novels, especially Bon, Konekomaru, and Shiemi. The one we haven't really seen much of that I would like developed more is Izumo. After she lost her friend and established herself as too strong for any of her classmates, her progress has stalled. Hopefully, we will get some volumes and a storyline dedicated to her as we have for the Kyoto batch. Read Full Review
