Jul 11, 2021After how strong last volume was, this one was a little bit of a let down. There was a lot of unnecessary repetition, especially when it came to the trains of thought and conversations Hana would have with herself. I was really hoping that this experience would change their relationship a little bit more, but it only affected a minuscule part, and Takane still seems to be completely absorbed by making and having money. We don't get any sort of introspection from him about how his time on "the bottom" has influenced him or made him appreciate what he does have - he's still just obsessed with getting back to the top.
