The Graphic Library - Sara Campbell
May 20, 2020This world that Shirai has set up is intimidating and overwhelming, yet our young heroes are the picture of youthful hope. The way the world is built means more obstacles for this group and I'm interested to see how they will hold out against another set of challenges. I'm also eager to see some of the supporting characters get a chance to shine because til this point it's been mostly Ray and Emma getting the spotlight. Don and Gilda have a bit of personality to them, but the rest of the kids are circles with eyes on them at this point. Demizu's illustrations continue to be creative and a bit spooky. The nice demons are still a little terrifying, and the forest they're traveling through is a dark, mysterious place. Read Full Review
