The Graphic Library - Sara Campbell
Jul 05, 2021After a pretty slow start, the second volume does pick up and provide some more compelling reasons to keep reading. In the first volume, there was some hint about the sinisterness behind the witch school, but volume two confirms it and gives enough little tastes to make the reader want to keep going. Volume two also has some much-needed backstory content, and I especially enjoyed learning more about the headmistress of the witch school. The volumes are still a little short for my taste, so I feel like I've just gotten into the story and the volume is over. I do wish there was some more insight into the revenge plot the witches are so keen on, which has only been hinted at so far and really needs to be explored more. This could still be a good series for libraries looking for some LGBTQ+ representation on their shelves. Read Full Review
