A Comic Book Blog - Geoff Arbuckle
Nov 12, 2012The story is still entertaining. The art gets a boost from consistency. The Mandersoon is still awesome even though he's not quite the little cutie we first saw. The Dark One, pretty much the high lord of all that's evil, is sniveling and groveling for mercy. Good fights, great monsters, and a sense of humor about it. This is something for which Zenescope fans should really find a place in their hearts. Read Full Review

Nov 15, 2012How the comic felt overall would be consistent with my earlier comment about the story being good. It was consistent, lively, maintained interest and created emotion. Could it have created more emotion? I believe so. Consideration: If the story is mostly fighting, consider lengthening non-fighting scenes to provide more content and context for character connection. Important to the feel was character consistency. Throughout the story, each character seemed to maintain their created personalities. The one character's behavior that was a slight surprise was the Dark One. Initially one who could handle is own, yet when his pet that brought confidence was removed, he seemed less powerful and confident. Read Full Review
