I have never read a comic like this before! I had never read a Captain America series before because I felt like all his stories were the same and I'm not interested in that kind of book. But this series offers another kind of comic, it's sci-fi, my favorite genre of fiction. The story is original and well-built. But, for me, the best part of the series is Rick Remender's writing: his characterization of Captain America is brilliant and his narration through his thoughts is perfect. The cliff-hanger is so terrible that I wanted to buy the second volume at the moment that I finished reading the first one. Regarding the art, I'm not a big fan of Romita Jr's in general.
