In a nutshell, if you are a fan of Conan you are likely to enjoy this book. That said it's firmly mediocre in general. I was excited to see the relaunch of the Conan the Barbarian series in 2019 and more so when I noticed Jason Aaron was handling the writing duties so I anticipated the release of Volumes 1 & 2. At my local comic book shop the other day, Volume 3 caught my eye and it was a no brainer picking it up having been a fan for a long time. Sadly, Aaron isn't writing the arcs anymore and the book has suffered for it.
