It's bloody genius: the Absolute Spectrum of Oa is CMYK color ink printing! [1] Cyan, Magenta (Pink), Yellow. Mix them all and you get Black, Mu, at the center of it all. [2] Cyan and Magenta make Green, Cyan and Yellow make Red, Yellow and Magenta make Blue (Obsidian and Todd Rice?). [3] White surrounds them all, the empty space between comic panels. (White is also opposite/adjacent on Oa's ring and Jessica mentions all the "white" on Mogo, the skeletons. Death.) [4] Together, the Light Spectrum makes up the entirety of a color printed comic universe. Oa was right and Thaal turned Sin Es Tro was wrong. As the heart of every star, Oa gives life and makes up the whole universe. It is the ring, the object that makes up existence. Not the hole around which everything circles: Darkseid. Thaal looked and saw only the black star and hence fell to the dark side. What I'm confused about is the distinction between Gold and Yellow. Is the former enlightened action while the latter is fearful action?

I thought it was funny that Simon got the solution to escaping the Manhunter dimension from the reference to Jean-Paul Sartre's Huis-Clos by Emily. In the books, the characters are in hell forced to torture each other because each one of them made the other two miserable but at the same time they can't get rid of them. One of the character is narcissist and since the room where they are stuck has no mirror, to see herself she can only use the eyes of one of his cell companion/abuser. Also this issue confirm my suspicion that the fact that [Man] is always in brackets means something. Maybe it is calibrated that way ? Maybe [Man] has another connotation than the one they brainstormed about ?
