If you’ve been missing the days of Star Wars comics that brought us new characters, worlds, and periods beyond the movies, then this may be the title to fill that void. The artwork is very top notch with dynamic drawings, strong coloring, and a lot of attention to detail. Lead character Keeve Trennis also makes a fairly good first impression as she manages to display some internal conflict, but prove to have the heart of a true Jedi. There’s even some good build up for the then current galaxy and Jedi for the first issue, and you can access this title without having to read Light of the Jedi. Only fault I’ll say is that it does spoil a death that occurs in Light of the Jedi. But ultimately I say this title, as well as The High Republic line of titles, is off to an excellent start.
