All-in-all, BUFFY SEASON 11 #12 is more of the same in the best way. Like Star Wars or Dragon Ball Z, there is so much Buffy out that at this point it acts more as a portal into the everyday lives of fantastic people than a concise story with a beginning, middle and end. This is why Buffy, unlike some other series, is so well suited for comics, and why it will likely always have a place in the medium. Read Full Review

You cheered, you went through the motions, and you panicked at the edge of your seat. This finale to Buffy the Vampire Slayer Season 11 was everything and the full package. Season 11 has been a thrilling experience from start to finish and they never once let up on the punches. Buffy and The Scoobies redefine what it means to be a hero whether you have power or not. It's what you do that nobody else will, and damning the consequences. Overall this creative team took a real problem, a first world situation for people who are treated different and turned it into one of the most heart-crushing developments in the Buffyverse so far. Given the chance, the franchise could have returned to the original status quo with Buffy (aside from Faith) being the only Slayer in town. While choosing to return the powers to the Slayers who misused their gifts is certainly magnanimous of her there is the question whether or not it's actually a good idea. As to the government's immediate reversal of its policies, it feels a bit too neat an ending for complicated issue. Worth a look. Read Full Review

While, by no means bad, BUFFY THE VAMPIRE SLAYER Season 11 #12 suffered from the same problems as the rest of this season...poor pacing and a few anticlimactic moments (which is, really, too bad as I loved issue #1). I didn't see ANY mention of a Season 12...which had me concerned. If this was the final season of BtVS it was not a worthy conclusion. If nothing else, and this is the end, I'm hoping for a limited series or one-shot to give us a proper, satisfying good-bye. Maybe Joss, himself, will do it...I think he'd HAVE to. Meanwhile, I will hope for the best and, eagerly, look forward to the GILES limited series. (PS - I really liked the Harmony/Clem cover. However, it just brought another missed opportunity to light as thes more

Well, it's over. And even though it got somewhat better, it never got good. Are we at the point after 20 years that maybe the story should be allowed to stop?
