The issue keeps up the beat of the previous books and adds more and more to the story, feeling like a major midpoint in the event. It continues the solution, problem, solution dynamic and the writing is phenomenal enough to keep readers hooked. Read Full Review
Beast World remains a solid outing for DC Comics in its roster of crossovers. Taylor has such an in-depth knowledge of this super hero universe that he is able to seamlessly use characters, old and new, when it comes to weaving a story that, on paper, sounds a little ridiculous. Read Full Review
Titans: Beast World #4 answers one of the bigger questions about this crossover - how will Amanda Waller stop Garro? And the result is a big bang moment. Taylor is doing a fine job is keeping readers engaged in the moment, even if the setup relies too heavily on assumptions and coincidences, and Robert Carey's art is excellent. Other than Raven mouthing off to Batman in the first issue and here looking doe eyed at Nightwing and thanking him for doing what the Titans would always do for one another (they're family for crying out loud), this series has been great and this issue is no exception. I've always liked Amanda Waller as a character and here she really gets to shine. Can't wait to see how this all plays out.
Pretty fun issue with great art and an interesting story with nice pacing. I like it.
This issue turned a lot more serious in terms of consequences as the drama and plot escalate to a rather shocking turn of events by issue’s end. Bonus points to Taylor for reviving, albeit briefly, a long unused FLASH supporting character from the 90s to great effect.
I wasn’t as into this as the rest of the story, unfortunately. This just wasn’t as interesting to me, which is why my score is 0.5 lower than the first three issues and even the latest issue of Taylor’s Titans run (#6). Though, I will say that I really liked Meyer’s art and I thought the ending was super interesting.
