Some of the pieces aren't adding up. That said, this tie in wasn't supposed to fill in those gaps but it did a good job giving the background as to why the Vulture is somehow running the inmates, developed more suspicion centered around both Kraven and Arcade, and explained why we ended the last issue with multiple Vermin up in here! However, when it's all said and done, I just need more Spidey in a Spider-man comic. Still no fireworks for me but maybe a Bang Snap or two. Read Full Review

If it didn’t carry information that’s clearly going to be crucial to the coming issues of Amazing Spider-Man, this one would probably get a pass from me. It lacks the pathos that made the other HU entries such engaging reads. It’s not bad by any stretch of the imagination. It just doesn’t do anything too interesting with its content. This was pretty different from the rest of the .HU tie-ins. The others really delved deep into the character they were centered around. This one kind of does that with Vulture, but not to the same level. The fact that there's a quick Vermin story to make up the page count makes me think that this issue just didn't have as much to say as the rest, while at the same time being one of the most crucial tie-ins. It's pretty weird. But I did enjoy this. I had a really good time reading it. It was just an odd fitting issue is all!

I liked this one. It was very different than the other tie-ins in that it's not a backstory or a prequel. It felt more like a non-.HU issue, except for the lack of Spider-Man. Also, the art was great and really made Arcade seem more menacing and less like a big ol doof.

This book is a legitamate tie in in the fact that it almost is needed. It continues the story rather than reallybdoing a charter expose like the previous .hu's

This time, it's actually a part of the current main story, with Vulture as the lead character. Some important things have been revealed here, and it was quite a fun read. Smith's art is great as well.

That was pretty good. Not enough focus on Vulture, but I do like the art and how great Kraven is manipulating everyone in this event.

And that Vermin stuff was also interesting.

This is another issue that makes me think the cart and horse have gotten severely mixed up in this event, with the main issues digressing into side-stories and the supplementary issues carrying too much plot-critical stuff.

This issue was shockingly bad compared to the rest of the .HU issues.
