    I know this is a comic, but there were several things about it that broke my suspension of disbelief and made the whole thing seem unrealistic, even though I'm fully aware that it's a comic. With Silk number twelve the direction has changed, not necessarily for the worse, but not for the better for me as a reader. I'll have to see where this book goes in the next issue or so to see if it's something I still want to read. I'm hoping it gets back on track since I don't want to miss out on Ford's art.     The creative team behind this series has really set the barvery high for themselves. Unfortunately, this month they did not reach thatsame level of quality. Don't get me wrong, I'm still very excited to see whathappens next and the art in this book is really incredible. Honestly, the artis probably what kept my score high for this book.     Better artwork from Tana Ford helps support the strange new tone of this new story arc, which will undoubtedly surprise Silk readers. A number of narrative and plot inconsistencies don't help the trippy premise, leaving a question of where things will go, and how palatable readers will find them. Read Full Review
