Try as I might, I can't find any fault within these pages;Heisserer,AllenandMartinhave produced one of the best stories to come from Valiant this year – and considering how good Valiant's output has been this year, that's high praise indeed. Read Full Review

Comics: The Gathering - Thegreatmagnet Sep 21, 2017

This series has been transcendent from the start and this issue was a very satisfying conclusion to the first arc. The creators deliver the goods in terms of emotional impact, gripping action, and plot. This series accomplishes the impressive feat of appealing equally to longtime fans and new readers alike. I think at least a few people on my X-mas list might end up getting Secret Weapons trade paperbacks this December, because it represents the very best of what Valiant Comics represents. Geeked Out Nation - Jideobi Odunze Sep 20, 2017

What can I say after the events of Secret Weapons #4? I WANT MORE. I know that this will somehow connect them to Harbingers Wars 2, but I also want to see them take this to the next level through an eventual continuation which is the hope they gives us when they say Secret Weapons will return. You couldn't have asked for a better cast of characters and the use of powers you don't see every day. This sort of storytelling and creativeness is exactly what puts Valiant on top when it comes to quality of superhero books. Read Full Review

By all means, the miniseries has been strong enough to warrant getting excited for whatever that may be, but the dynamics of Secret Weapons have been so strong that I want to spend more time with the group right now. Read Full Review

Textbook ending for a team book origin story, which might be tired if not for the visual flair and clarity this creative team accomplishes. A prestige series sticks the landing with artistry. Read Full Review
