But Why Tho? - Kate Snchez Jun 19, 2019

Overall, Goddess Mode #6 is a phenomenal end to this arc. With the future of the series dependent on sales from this point, I hope to all the Oracles we get to see more of this world, especially considering the ramifications of the final fight. But, this issue closed out so well, that if the door remains closed, this issue completes the story well, even with some threads that can be picked up in the future. Ultimately Goddess Mode #1 " #6 is one of my favorite arcs in comics, not just for 2019 but ever. Read Full Review

This is a fine issue. I like the conclusion of the story and where it puts the characters. The things they have to overcome are interesting and there is a thematic weight. The art is amazing; it's some of the best stuff I've seen in a while. But the script feels like an anchor weighing everything down. It's a nice ending to the story (and possibly the series, though I'm not sure if the Vertigo shuttering means that the books are ending) and the art is pretty as hell. Not a bad book at all. Read Full Review

You Don't Read Comics - Russ Bickerstaff Jun 19, 2019

If the rumors are true, the DC Vertigo imprint that Goddess Mode is a part of is coming to a close. Its possible that Quinn and company werent entirely ready for the end of the series. Maybe things ended up getting rushed at the end because they didnt plan for it. If that was the case, perhaps it would have been better to lengthen aspects of the final argument into something much less final. It would have been much more satisfying if everything fell off a cliff with no resolution at all. Read Full Review
