With the Corinthian loose in the waking world, it's no surprise that people are turning up dead...although this time, they're not the nightmare's doing. (Well, most of them.) The Corinthian is following a trail of bodies to the mysterious Mr. Agony and Mr. Ecstasy...but what's their game? And even more pressing-whose tracks are they trying to cover?
As with the first issue, Sandman Universe: Nightmare Country #2 contains stellar visuals in both stories, with Simon Bowland's great lettering and James Tynion's writing unifying the two tales. Estherren delivers some wonderful, stylized art that showcases the characters beautifully. There are some wonderful visual details throughout and the art brilliantly captures the dark reality of the waking world as well as the wonder of the Dreaming. Read Full Review
A dark story arc that takes you into the deepest parts of the underground taking you on a psychological journey like no other. Captivating and thought provoking, an arc that stays with you even after you finish, wouldn't say the best bed time reading. Read Full Review

Much better than issue 1.
Mysteries abound, creepy imagery, and Tynion's fun dialogue. Can't say I'm fully on board with following Nightmare in this manner, but let's see where this goes.
