This whole arc is just a teaser for the doomsday clock series that comes out in November. There are no revelations (other than stuff that we already know) and I'm disappointed with what was done with Jay Garrick. There is no plot to this book, it's basically the conclusion of a weird road trip.

Spencer writes a nice villain with his Captain Hydra. Too bad it strains under all the leaps you have to make for Secret Empire to work. Death Camps? Sure, that works in America, never happened before but whatever. Cap takes down mutants, inhumans, and other 'undesirables'. Why not? He manages to somehow subvert Shield, Sword, all eighty some odd Avengers teams. Okay. At this point if you more

I enjoyed the first chapter more, although with Saturn Girl and Johnny Thunder both introduced now, I'm wondering how they're going to wrap up everything in two issues. Fabok and Porter have different styles so if you wait until all four chapters are out and then read them all in one sitting, it can be bit jarring. This chapter wasn't bad but it leaves us on a cliffhanger meeting between Batmen of more

Art can be better but I ignored the was art because I was so into the story and I didn't want to miss anything. The material is dense and this book is high on dialogue but good dialogue.
