Pretty Deadly #2 |
Jan 2, 2014 |
Wow, I was just blown away. I was a little worried that this issue would drag but man, I was not expecting this much intensity at all. First part of this issue starts off a little slow but quickly turns into an explosive and magnificent spectacle that caught me off guard. This issue justified my adding Pretty Deadly to my pull list, and you'd be crazy not to add it to yours as well. Get this book! |

Its only three issues in and already Rocket Girl is gaining so much speed and momentum and it shows no signs of slowing down. The story continues to be intriguing, humorous, exciting and full of all the charm that a story set in the colorful 80's can bring you. This book is worth buying and adding to your pull list. |

Umbral #2 |
Dec 20, 2013 |
Umbral #2 continues to shock, unnerve and keep us guessing as to what will happen next. Despite some story and artistic hiccups that kept this issue from having a perfect score, I still found Umbral #2 a great read and Im still surprised that an issue this rich in story and visuals is just $2.99! I highly recommend this book! |

Hinterkind #4 |
Jan 9, 2014 |
With three groups intersecting now in the post-apocalyptic world of Hinterkind, survival is the only thing on everyones mind. Its become apparent, especially in this issue, that beings will go to great lengths and cross dangerous lines to ensure their place in the world. Though there were some problems I had with this issue, I still recommend Hinterkind to any fans of post-apocalyptic and modern fantasy stories. |

Disney Kingdoms: Seekers of the Weird #1 |
Jan 16, 2014 |
I definitely enjoyed reading through this first issue of Seekers. Theres a lot of questions raised and might move a bit too quickly, but there's potential for a great story here even though this is a limited series. It has very strong artwork and colors that help it break from a traditional Disney look that one might expect. Im definitely going to see this limited series to the end. |
