BINGO LOVE is a bittersweet scrapbook of memories that showcases Tee Franklin's nuanced storytelling alongside Jenn St-Onge's dynamic and colorful illustrations. This story is a must-read for anyone pining for more well-written queer love stories featuring women of color.

MECH CADET YU #1 is a perfect introduction to the series' universe and main characters. With amazing art by Takeshi Miyazawa and heartfelt writing by Greg Pak, I recommend this comic to basically everyone.

MISFIT CITY #3 amps things up as the crew continues to hide their treasure-hunting from family and friends. But when they contact Black Mary through a seance, they realize how deep they've gone down the rabbit hole.

THE SEANCE ROOM #2 is a compact story with a lot of substance. It's horror mixed with THE TWILIGHT ZONE, ethereal yet dark. I'd recommend this to anyone interested in ghost stories.

THE UNSOUND #2 keeps up with the first issue's unsettling atmosphere, but now we're diving head first into the main plot.

THE UNSOUND #1 is enticingly steady-paced, giving the reader time to acclimate to this new world. With amazing illustrations by Jack T. Cole and Cullen Bunn's chilling narrative, THE UNSOUND is a must-read for horror fans.

MISFIT CITY #1 establishes the town of Cannon Cove and its inhabitants easily without relying on nostalgic tropes.

MISFIT CITY #2 doesn't disappoint as it explores more of the town's history, more pirate lore, and Pippin the dog's ability to save the day when least expected.

GARY GIANNI'S MONSTERMEN AND OTHER SCARY STORIES is a great mix of off-color humor and downright macabre.

THE EYRIE is a perfect example of a horror comic with a simple style. The overbearing atmosphere will make you feel as though you're the one being watched.

TRISKELION #1 is a beautiful comic, a mix of traditional watercolor, digital illustration, and photographs. It intrigued me right away, leaving me wondering what comes next for the hesitant protagonist.

THE UNSOUND #3 is visually the strongest issue yet. Jack T. Cole's art is as terrific as it is harrowing. Cullen Bunn's writing is picking up speed, meaning this may be the calm before the storm.

THE PALE is a mysterious and quirky read, perfect for anyone who misses '90s thriller cult classics.

APHRODITE V #1 sets the stage for a series full of explosions, corruption, and artificially intelligent terror. This comic is ideal for fans of EX MACHINA, THE TERMINATOR, and any sci-fi robot classic.

In HALLOWS FELL, Thom Burgess and Izzy Stanic create a chilling atmosphere by playing off of popular ghost lore and nightmarish imagery.

SONITUS #1 doesn't give away much in the title, but diving in is the best way to read. The gritty art, living setting, and vague memories pull the reader in for a story that reaches far beyond the pages.

SONITUS #2 continues to be amazingly creepy with gritty illustrations and ominous sounds. Mysteries from Ben's past still persist, but each issue tells us more.

RAVINA THE WITCH? reads like a fairy tale, but with much darker themes. The cute art is often jarring against the disturbing situations Ravina experiences.

BILL AND TED SAVE THE UNIVERSE is a fun and colorful homage to the original movies. Brian Joines and Bachan's work is sure to entertain fans of the triumphant duo.

JUGHEAD: THE HUNGER #1 is an intense start to a chilling new series. The art is creepy, the stakes are high, and nobody in Riverdale is safe.
