The finale of the book is very open ended, so those that need closure in a story, beware. However, the tales enclosed are obviously lovingly rendered and drawn with care. It's a must for anyone who loves a good fairytale, but is cynical at heart. Read Full Review

I really liked the art style (Mizuno does double duty and provides the art as well). It manages to create a proper mix of dark, and light atmosphere when the story calls for it. It also does a solid job in capturing the fairytale atmosphere but in a subtle way. Read Full Review
I REALLY wanted to like this book as the artwork is different and engaging. The stylized pictures are cute and full of little things that catch the eye. I found myself looking more at the artwork than actually reading the story to be honest. For me this would be a pass on this title. Like I said before, if the adult content were to be taken out I would definitely scoop it up to read to my daughter. Read Full Review
