Red Skull: Incarnate #1

Jul 10, 2011

It would seem that Pak has done something shockingly immoral " exploiting animals for cruelty and killing " while claiming the moral high ground. This kind of behavior needs to be called out, named, and condemned. This is a case where we must protect ourselves from those who claim to be protecting us. We must reject this comic for its brutality and stupidity. Marvel has an honorable history of emotional and spiritual sensitivity to immigrants, refugees, and survivors. This is its day of shame.

IDW Unveils the Cobra Civil War #1

Jan 20, 2011

If you have spare money to spend, dont blow it on three copies of the same book. Go ahead and spend it with IDW, but save it for Yoe! Books Amazing 3-D Comics, collecting the best of early 3-D stories and samples by artists like Jack Kirby, Steve Ditko, Bob Powell, Al Jaffee, Russ Heath, Milt Stein, and Alex Toth. Now that stuff will blow your mind for years to come. Its an investment that will continue to reward you, long after a superficial event like Cobra Civil War lies forgotten.

Superman (2006) #682

Nov 26, 2008

Okay! But now I have to wait two weeks for the next New Krypton issue, Action Comics 872. And I can't be certain that any of the questions raised by Action Comics 871, Supergirl 35, or Superman 682 will be answered. What if they just switch scenes again, and start up yet another thread? Will I keep reading, or drift away to something more satisfying?

Action Comics (1938) #871

Nov 21, 2008

Meanwhile, concerning New Krypton, loyalties will be strained, rigid ideologies will sow anger and mistrust, and if Johns can hold it together, goodness will prevail, if only for a moment. Would I be a fool to believe Doomsday is really dead?

Scooby-Doo Team-up #20

Nov 23, 2016

Croker (1962-2016) was an animator and voice artist who voiced Zorak and Moltar on Space Ghost Coast to Coast (1994-2008), for which he was also principal animator. Croker was only 54 when he died two months ago. It is a tragic loss. I do not know if this issue was planned before his death, but as a tribute, it could not be lovelier. Well done, DC, for so many reasons, and thank you.
