Joe Bennet's pencils may not be as sharply detailed as the work done previously by Ivan Reis, but it's enough to establish a seamless sense of continuity with the preceding chapters. This book thrives on weird visuals, and Bennet is no slouch in adding crazy new forms for Plastic Man to contort into. He keeps the book's distinctively strange action scenes flowing while never on the script's quieter moments.

Well, I think Harley has a good chance of winning. I'm sure the citizens of New York have no clue what their current mayor is into. But, Harley's past and present are an open book. She's been hailed as a hero in the media multiple times, and Cobblepot is mayor in a different DC world. So, anything is possible. Harley Quinn continues to be a fun and entertaining read.

The story is getting deep guys. It can't always be about bacon and bear punching. But, I assure you, with all these awesome reveals of our main character there is still a great amount of action. And, in the last few issues we really haven't seen much plot. I assure you there is a plot and it's a good one.

This issue was a fun read, but I love learning anything new about Bettie Page and her personal life. I think any fan of hers knew she was a great person. But, this comic so far shows just how strong and heroic she was too. This woman was abducted, shot at, and even more crazy things happen this issue. She kept pursuing the truth at all costs. The story is going places and the action is nuts.

It's nice that the annual played a part in the story line leading into issue 13. It's also nice to have some closure on some characters, villains mainly. And, something pretty tragic happens in this issue that I didn't go into because huge spoiler guys. I really hope you pick this one up at your local comic shop. Lots of turning points happen for our main characters that I didn't even touch on. Things are looking bright for Supergirl's future. For now, at least.

This issue added a lot of character depth. And, of course, giant robot versus giant monster fights are always excellent.

The writers are great at mixing plot, humor, and adventure. This issue is no different. Make sure you pick up this issue at your local comic shop today.

Betrayal, action, even a totally stereotypical both guys flying horizontally through the air and shooting at each other moment. Which I loved. And it didn't have the clich everyone goes home happy ending either. However, Abel was all proud of himself for saving the city from bombs"and then he shoots down a helicopter"straight down into the city"so like"that kind of backfired, right? That was exactly what you were trying to prevent! Still, an excellent issue that you should make sure you don't miss out on.

Much of what makes this debut issue work is contingent on the visuals. Tan's work on both the script and the pencils gives the book a seamless quality that's hard to match.

As with the first issue, we are met in this one with beautiful art and some awesome looking new characters. The shadows, in particular, give us a sense of seriousness, and it pairs nicely with the clever banter and dialogue.

With clever and humorous dialogue, a growing (and intensifying) story, and a growing world filled with constantly new creatures, issue 2 of Moonstruck follows up issue 1 without missing a beat and without drawing out the over-arcing plot for too long.
