Guardians of the Galaxy (2013) #25 |
Mar 26, 2015 |
Guardians of the Galaxy #25 was just painful to read. The fact that Marvel put a $4.99 price tag on this book is just insulting to the comic fan. The sooner this series ends the better for fans, hopefully there will be a new writer with the series after secret wars. Schiti should receive a pass for this issue, it wasn't his best, but he can still draw with the best of them. Bendis should be commended for his early story lines in the series. However past issue 14 it is hard to walk into a comic store and justify this being apart of a pull list. This issue is a perfect example as to why this book is being skipped by so many fans. |

Uncanny X-Men (2013) #32 |
Mar 25, 2015 |
There is another cliffhanger with this issue as to what is to come next. However from solicitations and the next cover it seems Kitty and Magik will be the stars. Don't get your hopes up though as we seen in the past with Bendis, anything is subject to change. |

All-New X-Men #40 |
Apr 23, 2015 |
With the X-Men franchise going in a new direction post Secret Wars. Readers seem to be more concerned about who will be writing it, rather than how Bendis will conclude up his story. This issue was a let down for readers, nothing progressed in the story and Bendis delivered a filler issue. Ultimately it is a shame, Bendis has been doing extremely well with the All New X-men story and has opened a lot of doors, but it may be time to send the X-men home. |

Hero Hourly #1 |
Sep 24, 2015 |
Hero Hourly was a fun change of pace for readers. Its biggest strength is being relatable, most readers have experienced something that the main character is going through. Hero Hourly takes a concept we all know and love with super heroes, and flips it on its head. Readers should pick up this series and give it a shot. |

All-New X-Men #41 |
Jun 5, 2015 |
The conclusion of All New Xmen is a fun read. It was a quick two-issue arc that was fun, exciting, and highlights Bendis fine work throughout the series. How ever, the series as a whole does not have a sense of conclusion, which is where Uncanny Xmen 600 will fill the gap. |

Guardians of the Galaxy (2013) #26 |
Apr 24, 2015 |
Guardians of the Galaxy is concluding after the next issue. Bendis will then be changing the title to Guardians of Knowhere. The title will not be the only thing changing as Bendis is promising to change the status quo of the series. Readers should be hesitant about this. Bendis has already been given a lot of leeway with the current series, which has received less than stellar reviews. Readers might want to cautiously continue past this series if Bendis is going to change everything on them again. |

All-New X-Men #39 |
Mar 19, 2015 |
It is unfortunate that this series will be ending since Bendis has been able to deliver a great story since it has started. While Sorrentino and Maiolo's art is enough to make someone want to put this in their pull box, this book is easily worth the price of admission. With this being the last part of the Black Vortex for the All New X-Men, readers should be anxiously awaiting the Utopians story line. |

Uncanny X-Men (2013) #33 |
Apr 17, 2015 |
With a few more issues left in the series, readers should be curious how this will wrap up. There seems to be a few loose ends that could easily be brought to a close. However it will be ultimately disappointing if Bendis does not deliver a grand ending for a fitting franchise. |

Chrononauts #2 |
Apr 19, 2015 |
Mark Millar, Sean Gordon Murphy, and Matt Hollingsworth are delivering a fun new series with Chrononauts. This series received a lot of hype prior to its release, and the series is living up to it. The only negative about this issue is it comes out once a month. This series will receive praise for years to come not only in the comic book world, but surely in the cinematic world when this book comes to life. |

Batman (2011) #41 |
Jun 13, 2015 |
This issue was a hit. Readers should be excited rather than nervous for where this series goes. Its safe to say Scott, Greg, Danny and DC comics knew what they were up for and really nailed it. With the next issue coming out in July, it just cannot get here fast enough. We need more Batman! |
