Vescell #4
Nov 22, 2011 |
Vescell is interesting both in its plot, characters, and especially in its layouts and art. This book will make your head spin in a good way, but you may feel dirty afterwards. It's not awful, but it's not very good either. Give it read if you want something different. |

Invincible #85
Nov 22, 2011 |
The art brings you back to the beginning of the series, and the writing continues to be top notch. This series is always one I bring up to my non-comic book reading friends who say they'd like to try something, and so far all have thoroughly enjoyed it. I can't wait to see how this all shakes out. Pick it up if you have been a long time reader, if not though I recommend starting from the beginning. The gravity of certain moments may be lost on you otherwise. |

Valen the Outcast #1
Dec 13, 2011 |
Valen the Outcast is a gloriously brutal, campy, and gory exercise in barbaric fantasy. For the one U.S. Dollar it would cost you to pick it up, give it a shot. It is well worth it. |
