Hadrian's Wall #1

Sep 20, 2016

At first the story is a little slow with just enough information to keep you intrigued without giving too much away and making it predictable. It is brought together by the artwork and has the potential to be an enjoyable mystery in a different universe.

Hadrian's Wall #2

Nov 1, 2016

Overall this title has caught my interest even more with this issue and I am looking forward to finding out the specifics of the crime. Hopefully the creator lineup is left alone for the series, because it is working very well.

Hadrian's Wall #3

Dec 16, 2016

Overall, the story was saved by the plot twist thrown at us in the last two pages. If not this would have been a very ho-hum issue. But, the art is on a constant high level of expertise and carrying the story quite well.

Hadrian's Wall #4

Dec 26, 2016

Overall, the story's pace has quickened and the art getting better and better. I am really enjoying this space drama and I can hardly wait for the big finish. I have a feeling it is not going to be what I expect in this whodunit.

Red Dog #1

Nov 13, 2016

Overall, I see very big things coming from 451 and this title is a prime example even if it is just the first issue. It is a comfortable read with a fascinating story and has rich art and coloring that exceptionally interprets the writing. This is my first time reading material from 451 and it has intrigued me enough to look into their other titles. I eagerly look forward to the continuing adventures of Red Dog.

Serenity: No Power In The 'Verse #1

Nov 3, 2016

Georges Jeanty is no newbie to the Serenity story. He was the artist for the previous Serenity title "Leaves on the Wind." He draws the characters the way that they should be: just like they stepped out of the movie. He expertly catches the moods and expressions of our favorite characters.

Serenity: No Power In The 'Verse #3

Dec 27, 2016

Overall, I was expecting the story to bog down so I can't complain too much, but the art carried it is the real draw to this issue. They made Inara stand out beautifully.

X-O Manowar (2012) #50

Sep 25, 2016

My many hats are off to Robert Venditti for keeping the pace of his prose, and making one of my favorite titles a treat over the years. Fifty plus issues is no small task for a writer that puts as much action and detail into a story as he does so well. This series will be a legacy of his that will be referenced for a long time.
