Story wise, if you don't have an in-depth amount of knowledge about the world of Cybertron and all things alien-robot, this comic is a great place to start. I didn't have much knowledge of this particular world myself, though while reading it, I was able to reconnect some story pieces that were a little blurry or missing. The first issue bounces back between Prime's flashbacks, (specifically four million years ago) and his life on Earth now trying to protect the ‘fleshies' (humans) from harm against ruthless enemies, (among these enemies being the ever power-hungry Megatron).
