Unclearly told and misogynistically indulgent, BOY-1 #1 could have been so much better with more thought. |

Welcome Back #1 |
Aug 18, 2015 |
All in all Welcome Back #1 is an impressive and engaging first issue in what looks to be a compelling and intriguing mini-series. The concept is fantastic and has a lot of potential, characters are realistic and relatable and visually the issue is delightfully striking. Personally, I'm already twiddling my thumbs waiting for the next installment of what is shaping up to be a refreshing and distinct inclusion to the current comic market. My biggest problem is that the series in only 4 issues. Ah well, maybe there'll be more in the next life. |
