God Country #1 is a breathtaking first issue of a comic that is sure to stay in my pull list. Unlike other number one issues and restarts coming out, this is a fresh idea with amazing talent behind it, and that has a concept to it that can lead it in a hundred different directions. There are other new series coming out from Image as well. Im not sure how many others Ill be reading, but do not pass by the opportunity to read this book.

While the story is wonderful, I dont want to give away too much of the plot, especially with this being the end of the first story arc. The trade is already being planned to be released and if you havent given the book a shot yet, do it, it will read phenomenally in trade, and part of that is due to the events that take place in this finale issue.

Low #12 is a super solid read, an absolutely wonderful comic. Though it may have slipped at issue 11 Low continues to be a favorite in my stack and it is a sci-fi story nobody else is telling. The cover for next issue Is equally as intriguing and after this month I have high hopes for it. If there was one Remender book to pick up, it would be this one.

The Wicked + The Divine #19 is an issue that pushes the chaos that is enveloping the title. It is action packed and helps to solidify the divisions between the loyal members of the Pantheon and the rebels. This issue only makes me more excited to see what comes next from these two (Gillen and McKelvie) as this story arc seems to be amping up the stakes.

Huck #4 continues to widen the plot and mysteries to Hucks story. This issue broadens the world for both Huck and the reader. Millars writing is consistent and competent, and being backed up by Albuquerque's art and McCaigs coloring creates a new, heartwarming book that is about a superhero, but is a break from the mainstream tropes coming from the big two.

There is not much different to say about this book that I have not said before, which is refreshing compared to the constant shifts from the comics in the Big Two. Given that this book is going to be collected it will be well worth the price to be able to read it in one go. It is a book that is highly recommendable, and also good for new readers. While it has a few flaws Huck #6 and Huck as a whole is a wonderful read.

Low #11 is a stepping stone issue that doesnt raise the stakes of the current run, but allows new readers into the series. It is a slow going issue that many have described as a set up issue, which is hard to argue against. But knowing Remender from his work on this series and his numerous other books he will more than make up for it in books to come. Low #12 seems to be promising as it looks to tie together threads Remender has been weaving for the past ten issues, and if it takes this slower issue to get there then it will be worthwhile.

Snowfall #1 is a book that contains a lot of potential, however in the first issue it doesnt really deliver. If Harris and Moazzo step it up in the next issue, adding more action or adding more to the mystery of the White Wizard they will have a real hit on their hands. This book focused more on conversation and developing the world for this story to exist in, which isnt a problem if the last page was a little more suspenseful and not an effort to get to as this one seemed to be

For a nearly $6.oo price tag I was expecting a lot more from this book, especially being one of the first issue #50s before going into the ReBirth event that is coming soon. This book suffers from a hyped storyline that failed to deliver on my part ( especially having just read Emerald Twilight), with having such a grandiose villain as Paralax, the evil dark Hal Jordan appearing to protect Coast City in the most Machiavellian way possible. To kill Green Lantern to save the city. This disappointment in conjunction with the missteps in art really make this book overpriced. Especially with the inclusion of pages of add-space. This book seems thicker, but double page spreads and single pages, including the interior cover are dedicated to Dawn of Justice and other DC properties, so all the extra page space is gone. This is an issue to read in trade when it comes out, it will be worth the cost of the rest of the arc which was good up until this one dropped the ball.

Tokyo Ghost is a need to read series for fans of comics and Id venture to say anime alike as it has a very Samurai Jack/ Ghost in the Shell feel to it. The first trade is out and it is the best time to pick up on this book as it will only get better from here, knowing the duo that is creating it. It Is an action packed sci-fi story with deeper messages and an element of the fantastic. And this issue sets up a great new status quo for those who have been reading up to this point. This issue is not new reader friendly but thats what the trade is for.
