"Shore of the Dying Light" Part 2
At last Stel Caine reaches the surface, but what she finds there isn't what she imagined.
While the arcs of this series have been crafted splendidly, the audience is left wondering how Tajoand Della will come to be reunited with their mother. In a sense each group is in a different world and banding together will surely prove a difficult task. The team behind this series has gone on to produce an excellent series that I can't recommend enough. I look forward to seeing where they'll take us as we begin to explore a whole new landscape that's already filled with danger. Read Full Review
Low #12 is a super solid read, an absolutely wonderful comic. Though it may have slipped at issue 11 Low continues to be a favorite in my stack and it is a sci-fi story nobody else is telling. The cover for next issue Is equally as intriguing and after this month I have high hopes for it. If there was one Remender book to pick up, it would be this one. Read Full Review

In a moment of realization at the end of the issue Stel thinks how foolish humanity was that the world would just stop once they vanished from it. She thought that she could find the probe, find a planet that humanity could inhabit, and save the world. After the bloodbath that she just witnessed she knows that nature continued without them. The endless struggle to reach the surface is over, and just like that Remender pushes us into a whole new adventure. We thought we knew what was waiting for Stel on the surface, but we had no idea. He opens the chapter in contemplative, albeit hopeful fashion, painting a seemingly idyllic picture wherein all one has to worry about is the occasional fire spider. By issue's end that good feeling is all but gone, the book's new menace leaving an instant and lingering mark. Read Full Review
