You won’t hear it from me. I hate the concept of alternate futures and alternate X-Men. It has been done to death. The only way I would have enjoyed this, is with a creative team capable of doing something really interesting and intelligent. It would be so easy to get the fans back. Just do one solid X-Men book featuring one of the classic eighties team rosters, either back at the mansion or on the run from mutant haters. Done.

Let's not even talk about Ororo's pregnancy test. It's as close to a saccharine Manga comic for girls as a superhero comic can get. You'd have to pay me to read another issue of this poor quality.

Yeah. I think the crowd that loves the current X-books doesn't really exist. They are trying to cater to a demographic that doesn't actually read superhero comics. And you can't trust the professional reviews anymore. I don't believe that any of the pro reviewers actually think this is good.
The Comic Book Revolution review is pretty accurate, but much too kind and forgiving.
