Teen Titans Go! #19

When I asked my 10-year-old his take on the comic, he said "Um, that was fun but weird" Like in a good way."

Robyn Hood (2021): Voodoo Dawn #1

Aug 5, 2021

This story reminds me quite a bit of 'Ongoing.' It has religious references, souls, and mystical friends from the world of Myst. It wasn't a huge turn-off and probably a coincidence, but it was intriguing to see the stories be so similar.

Nubia & The Amazons #1

Oct 20, 2021

Nubia and the Amazons is an excellent addition to the Wonder Woman story, and it is intriguing with a nice setup to what promises to be an action-packed series. I am excited about what comes next as this epic tale unfolds between the pages. The depth of color and scale that took my breath away in certain scenes was nothing short of spectacular!

Spider-Gwen: Gwenverse (2022) #1

Mar 7, 2022

Jodi Nishijima and Federico Blee worked in harmony to bring this story to life. The style of art is cute but powerful leaving the reader pouring through the story instead of being distracting. With Spider-Gwen and Thor-Gwen working together in issue #2, there is no limit to where the story can take us.

Doctor Who: Empire Of The Wolf #1

Nov 17, 2021

Jody Houser has such an expansive playground to work with here, and she navigates it beautifully. When the Eighth Doctor meets Rose, the scene fits right into the Who-niverse. The collection continues in a fun way. These time-traveling tales are mysterious so far and are gearing up to be quite the story!
