It may only be the prelude to Marvel's upcoming 15 issue crossover event. But it is done with the soul of spy-organization S.H.I.E.L.D. Definitely worth the pick up!

Bruce Wayne has taken back up the cowl. It is time for the final show down to begin. And all of Gotham will play their part. Batman #50 is nearly 60 pages of emotional storytelling. Fully worth the pick-up!

Cry Havoc #1 from Image Comics was a far better than originally anticipated. The art and changing of colorists allowed for different styles throughout the book. However, it sometimes led to difficulties following the time line.

Dejah Thoris #1 fell far short of expectation. She was supposed to run from her Damsel in Distress title and come into her own. But the writing causes her to circle about herself and the art drifts back and forth between great and poor. The future may be brighter, but the first issue of her new series was disappointing.

Faith #1 is a great pick up for anyone who wants to take their first steps into the Valiant Universe. She is smart, independent and a superhero like no other. But, instead of making her proud, they made her so sweet that it was almost overpowering.

International Iron Man takes us back to a vulnerable moment in Tony Stark's life. He was affectionate, determined. Then his life changed. Now he must look to the past in hopes of locating his birth parents.Yet another title from Marvel's heavy hitter, Brian Michael Bendis, International Iron Man #1 is worth a pick-up, but not essential reading.

Jonesy #1 is cute, animated and love-inducing. The story plays on several modern day pre-teen/teen colloquialisms and themes that may not be create a large amount of interest for many mature readers. But it is a great pick up for the young readers to the young-at-heart.

Kennel Block Blues #1 had some very basic plot explanation issues but was otherwise highly entertaining. The control of the two separate art styles made the book a very entertaining to read.

With the high hopes of an explosive first issue for the best friends, Power Man and Iron Fist #1 falls drastically short.

Snowfall #1 takes a look at the environmental eventualities of our current realities. While weaving in the fantastical. With beautiful art and technical storytelling, it is worth the pick-up.

Spider-Man #1 brings us an All-New, All-Different look at fan-favorite Miles Morales. The story is easy to pick up for new readers and keeps to the themes for the original fans. The issue itself is very introductory, but gives us a glimpse into what could be an exciting adventure.

Superman: The Coming of the Supermen #1 (of 6) had the beautiful action sequences expected of comics legend Neal Adams. But it also had the plot confusion of comics legend Neal Adams.

Though a cliche or two, Dark and Bloody #1 is a new horror title filled with love, loss and just a dab of evil.

X-Men: Worst X-Man Ever connects personally with a feeling of "normal" mixed in with the excitement of the X-Men. It is a fun new addition, even though limited, to the All-New, All-Different X-Line.
