'Commanders in Crisis' #4 is a standout issue with melodramatic reveals, gorgeous art, and intense action. While some of the exposition feels a bit stiff, the payoff and the concepts in play are more than enough keep me on board.

The final issue of this down-to-Earth story about love and creativity in modern San Francisco takes a risky but rewarding twist by getting out of the Bay Area and acknowledging the truth the characters have been running from the whole series: before you can truly connect with others, you have to understand yourself.
