Retelling a story as epic and well known as The Odyssey is one of the most ambitious and terrifying things I can imagine a writer committing to. Retelling it as a space epic with an all female cast is downright ballsy. For this skeptical reader, it seemed like a dangerous tight rope to walk, however Fraction's best Homer impression and Ward's stellar compositions are proving a very satisfying mixture. Part hard sci fi, part greek mythology, part Heavy Metal, this comic is proving to be one definitely worth a spot on the pull list.
