This series could very easily be turned into an HBO series or Lifetime Original Movie; if that happens, I would probably watch it because I love strong, take-charge female leads. As a comic though, it falls a little flat. Thankfully, there are only 8 issues to this story arc.

This first book is a little slow, but seems to be setting up some good action to come. The characters are fun and original.Afu Chans (The Spera Series) art is child-like, but somehow seems to fit the story perfectly. I think Tierney gives us a great introduction to a new series that will be fun, campy, and exciting without being overtly sexual and derogatory. Not to mention there is a kick-ass robot assassin who is cryptic as all Hell, and Im certain we will see more of her. So Ill keep reading it for sure.

With art reminiscent of some of my childhood favorites, and no holding back on the gore this is bound to be a wild ride. This series is bound to keep you on your toes and asking questions with each issue.

This story starts as Bat-mite angers three creepy, but enthusiastic, people in hoods from his dimension and is banished to live amongst the full size heroes. He calls Batman his sidekick, which we know isnt a smart thing. In this adventure Bat-mites adversary is Doc Trauma who creeps me out thoroughly! The whole thing reads like an episode of Animaniacs, so quite obviously.. I love it. If youre looking for a light, easy, fun read, this is it!

Magneto is the best. He's the psychotic, over-loving, human-hating, super father I always wanted, and his days are coming closer to an end.

Wolverines #1 is classic Weapon X-Men with a twist. My claws are sniktting through my knuckle flesh right now, in anticipation of the next issue in this series. I see it being very short lived. But! The humor, the violence, the carnage; and the familiar characters are everything a Mutant Lover will freely bleed for.
