Despite my criticism of the art, this is a reasonably solid X-Men issue that doesnt really deserve to be the #1 issue of an ongoing series. While Medinas style doesnt really fit the vampire part of the equation, this was a stable showing from him, and Gischlers script moves the plot along nicely.
