Deathstroke (2016) Annual #1 |
Feb 2, 2018 |
Whew! This is how you do an annual. Priest has closed so many doors yet, he has opened so many more. Just when I think this title is going to slow down, I read an issue like this. If you would have told me that I would ever care about Deathstroke this much pre-Rebirth I would have called you crazy. This book has reinvented the character in so many ways and continues to elevate itself each and every month. Do yourself a favor, pick up this book! |

Batman: Sins of the Father #1 |
Feb 24, 2018 |
This story (along with the game) really bring out something that really gets overlooked alot in Bat-titles. The psychology of Bruce Wayne. Christos Gage and the writers at Telltale have really crafted a world that contains everything I love about Batman. The mystery is very solid and is focused on detective work instead of spectacle. It's an emotional take on the characters that shows what truly drives the world's greatest detective. I cannot wait to see where Christos takes this story. |

Deathstroke (2016) #28 |
Feb 8, 2018 |
Christopher Priest has made Deathsroke such a complex character. There are so many layers to this character that I've never seen before. This story arc is a cornucopia of plotlines spanning across the entire series thus far. Priest's writing is all about the long game. Twilight, Defiance, Four Rooms, it all matters. Stick around folks, it's about to get intense. |
