Jim Henson's Labyrinth: 30th Anniversary Special #1
Oct 15, 2016 |
Picking this up I expected it to be a comic version of the movie, to my surprise it was actually a handful of short stories about characters from the Labyrinth. With multiple writers and artists such as Johnathn Case, Cory Godbey, Gustavo Duarte and more, you get a diverse reading experience in stories and art. |

Superior is a comic series written by Mark Millar (yes the writer of Kick-Ass) and illustrated by Leinil Francis Yu. It is published by Marvel Comics under the company's Icon Imprint. A great story with gritty art that really lends to the story. |

Animosity #1

It was a quick read as are most comics but the amount of emotion, story and comedy put into such a small amount of time really blew me away. The artwork is super clean and really holds the tone of the story in color and image. I cannot say enough about this comic and am very much looking forward to this series as it comes out. I would highly recommend picking up a copy. |

The twists of this story keep taking me by surprise, Marguerites writing really keeps youin suspense with each issue. The art and coloring of these comics truly give you a feel for the important moments of the story line. Jesse's memories having such a soft glowing feel to the art and then the harsh and gritty lines that come with the current timeline. |
