Batman: Europa #1
Nov 18, 2015 |
This was a really fun story and the combination of Giuseppe Camuncoli and Jim Lee art helped create a truly engaging story. Im curious how this will hold when Lee departs Batman Europa. The script and story are in safe hands with Matteo Casali and Brian Azzarello. The dialogue is memorable and is a solid original story. My only issue with Batman Europa is this glaring hole in the plot. They havent created a meaningful reason why Batman and the Joker need to do find the cure together. Hopefully they create a meaning connection between them and makes us believe they need to together. |

Batman: Europa #3
Dec 30, 2015 |
Batman: Europa #3 has been the most enjoyable of the stories so far. Its shaping up for a final epic battle with Monster. As of now we dont know if he is a new character or an established villain from The Batman Universe. I do fear that many people will be turned off by Latorres art. Its not traditional comic book art many are used too. His abstract impressionist art fits perfectly into the dark undertones of this story, much like Gigers art brought Aliens alive. I have no clue what comes next, but Rome and all its infernal glory will prove be the proper backdrop for the conclusion. |

Batman: Europa #4

Over all this story was okay. Im curious to why they were motivated to publish this book. The story ends and really accomplished nothing. The art was the high point. |

Catwoman (2011) #46
Nov 12, 2015 |
I wont lie and act like I know anything about art, cause I dont. I dont have much rapport with Genevieve Valentine as an author nor with David Messina as an artist. I will state that enjoyed the art and found the story fun and enjoyable. When it comes to art in comic books I know what I like and dont like. I am a fan of Jim Lee and Jae Lees Selina Kyle. This comic for whatever reason brought me back to Gotham Central as a noir book with a contained story. I look forward to Catwoman #47. |

Catwoman (2011) #48
Jan 14, 2016 |
Lastly this will be my last month reviewing comics and it has been a pleasure to review comics. Ill continue my weak analogies and allusions to movies with the clients. Ive never really been a big Catwoman fan and Ive enjoyed it portrayals by Michelle Phieffers and Hathaways portrayal. |

Over all this issue was fun, but it was very predictable. I look forward to when Tim Seeley takes over the reigns. |

New Suicide Squad #16
Jan 15, 2016 |
I suggest to ignore the ending of this current arc as Tim Seeley, a rising star, takes over this book next month. He has proven his worth to DC and has been given this title just in time for people jumping to this comic due the Suicide Squad movie. Im actually looking forward to this book next month and hope you may give it another shot as well. |
