It's great to get back to Nolan, who I find to be the most interesting character in Invincible. I hope to see him in more issues down the road and watch the role he plays, if any, in the plot line involving Oliver's development. Simply, this is a classic Invincible issue which works on every level.

I am a big proponent of comics teaching and tackling real issues. So I am enthusiastic of Marvel addressing the Holocaust, or the Shoa, especially as it recedes into the annals of modern memory. The fact that this is a great read with great art even makes the case even stronger. Additionally, this series will bring some added depth to Magneto that hasn't been present in this specific regard, since the "God Loves, Man Kills" arc in the 80's.

From any standpoint, this is a great book that merges many different styles of comic book creating. I have never read "The Stand," but that has played no part in how much I like this book. Even though very little transpires in this issue, the slow build is enjoyable and keeps me wanting more.

Millar has single handedly made me interested in the Fantastic Four again with these high-concept stories and faithful, sometimes sensational, interpretations of the first-family of superheroes. Hitch's art keeps me rereading issue after issue, mesmerized by the detail and layout he produces. If you haven't been reading this series, now is a great time to jump in, as one arc concludes and another begins. Plus, the trade of this arc is due out soon.
