Earth 2: Society #5 |

Overall, I don't like this issue. There are some interesting ideas with Jay as a character that I do genuinely like; I feel bad for the guy in this. But the tone and the unfocused narrative make this incredibly tiresome to read. I don't recommend it. |

Green Arrow (2011) #45 |

Despite some good artwork, this issue is a bore. There just isn't anything here that is fun or interesting. It's fairly disappointing because I think that this team has a lot of potential and their first storyline was pretty good. Hopefully, this will go somewhere but I'm not feeling it right now. |

Suicide Squad (2011) #13 |

Despite the good character beats, the issue contains way too much dull action while putting too much focus on the Waller character as opposed to one of the villains. The book has its moments but, overall, it's fairly dull. |

Batman: Arkham Knight Annual #1 |
Oct 7, 2015 |
This issue is fine. The art is good and certain portions of the hallucinations are intense. But, there isn't much else to really make it stand out. It feels very much like a supplemental piece. It's not bad but there are better books to read. |

Deathstroke (2014) #11 |
Nov 3, 2015 |
This book is fun. There is some good action, some payoff from a previous story and a genuinely interesting mystery. While the book does suffer from a weird structure and the continued trend of exaggerating Harley Quinn's sex appeal, this is a fun read. |

Despite some minor complaints, this is a good issue. The character interactions are sweet, the conflict feels legitimate and there is some great atmosphere in the artwork. I definitely recommend reading this. |

This is a very strong conclusion. The character moments with Reverse Flash, Harley, and Manta are engaging with some fun action, great artwork and an unexpected heroic sacrifice. I highly recommend reading this entire storyline; it is quite good. |

Starfire #5 |

Despite some minor complaints, I highly recommend this issue. It does a surprisinglygreat job of balancing Starfire's silliness with the doctor's tragic story while being very fun to read with great art and engaging dialogue. |
