A very enjoyable read from cover to cover. This comic left me wanting more, which is always a good sign. This unique take on Dracula continues to surprise me with how much fun it is. I honestly cant wait to see what happens in the next issue. Does the Polidorium really capture Dracula? What is the Blue and what are the fallen angels going to do with it? All will be revealed in issue #4 of Sword of Dracula. I for one plan on being there and I suggest you do, too!

Once again, this issue packs in a lot of action. The pieces really start to come together. Ive really enjoyed SOD so far and each issue always leaves me wanting more especially when it seems that they always end in a cliffhanger. Sign me up for another issue I dont want the blood in my brain to boil!

Overall, this is a good, solid book. Sword of Dracula #2 piqued my interest so much so that Im probably going to add this title to my pull list. You should SOD a try; it is a good read and very entertaining. Henderson has crafted a unique concept and has executed it well so far. Im interested to see where hes going with this book.

Apparently Holed Up has sold out in the UK, which kind of makes me wonder if this comic isnt better appreciated by someone who resides outside the US. I guess you could say I live in the South, so all this comic did was reinforce the fact that there are still people out there like the Holeds and that makes me sad.

Masked Mexican wrestler? Check. Cool art? Check. Should be good, right? Well, not quite. Im not sure what I was expecting when I picked this book up, but this definitely wasnt it. Its a standard kind-of-bad-guy-makes-good story, only it happens to be a wrestler. There just wasnt anything for me to sink my teeth into. After reading this book, I kind of just shrugged. Not a bad book, but not very original either. The one thing that did stand out in this book is the art. El Zombo is big and cartoony and the art just looked great. Also, I really enjoyed the two pin-ups in the back of the book by Joe Chiodo and Francis Tsai. Good stuff. Maybe issue #2 will pick up the pace a bit and surprise me.
