Age of Ultron #10AI

Jun 27, 2013

What we're left with instead of a main who is repentant for the building of Ultron is a man who is looking forward to the future, who realizes what he has to offer, and who wants to make a positive difference in the world, no matter what anyone says.

Daredevil (2011) #27

Jun 29, 2013

And so ends two years worth of a story line, everything that we've seen has built up to this. All of the fights and all of the villains and all of the stories were building up to this one issue. In my opinion it was worth the wait. The ending felt good and it felt right. It felt like catharsis and it felt like a new beginning. Foggy has a long way to go, and if we're really lucky, Mark Waid will be the man to handle his care.

Daredevil (2011) #29

Aug 13, 2013

Daredevil (2011) #30

Aug 24, 2013

The art for the book is once again a delight and the rotating art team continues to make each other look good. This time it's Chris Samnee's turn at bat, probably made slightly harder by the inclusion of The Silver Surfer. But Samnee delivers brilliantly, making the book his own but not keeping a consistency with all of the previous issues.

Indestructible Hulk #11

Aug 2, 2013

Despite the less than stellar art and the fact that a lot of the book is exposition, it's still immensely enjoyable. The use of Banner's “Work Diary” in place of a standard first-person narrative works brilliantly well and Waid has some great fun with the changes in time that are happening all around the present. As a stand-alone issue, it won't rank as a classic, but it is a sign of some great things to come and the prospect of the ability to change The Hulk's mood and intelligence and origin on a whim holds great promise.
